WHY SHOULD I DIGITIZE MY OLD FILMS & VIDEOTAPES?
Videotape and film quality degrades over time. Even if films and magnetic tapes like VHS and VHS-C are stored in perfect conditions, they can still experience roughly 20% signal loss after 20-25 years. While losing 20% doesn't mean you lose the the entire video, it can certainly impact your ability to enjoy your memories.

Films: 8mm and Super 8
Videotapes: VHS, S-VHS, VHS-C, S-VHS-C, Digital8, Hi8, 8mm, MiniDV,
DVD/CD: DVD, MiniDVD, Video CD
​Photos/Slides/Film Negatives: 35mm, 110 and 126 film
Audio: Audio CD, MiniCD, Cassette Tapes
WHAT DO I GET WHEN MY MEDIA IS CONVERTED?
You have multiple options and add-ons, but by default, videotapes and films are converted to a digital video file (MP4) and provided to you on a USB flash drive.
CAN I GET MY VIDEOS ON DVD?
Absolutely! For a small fee, you can also have your videos added to a DVD (playable in DVD and Blu-Ray players). See the pricing page for more details.
DO I GET MY VIDEOTAPES AND FILMS BACK WHEN YOU'RE DONE?
Of course you do! When the digitization is complete, we will make all of your videos available on a USB flash drive, and will mail back your tapes and films and any additional items you added on (DVD, USB flash drive, etc).
